Spravato
SPRAVATO® is a prescription medicine, used along with an antidepressant taken by mouth to treat:
Adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD)
Depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions
Various trials have shown SPRAVATO® to be very effective. After 16 weeks of therapy, patients who stayed on SPRAVATO® did better than those who stopped therapy and showed a greater reduction of depression symptoms than those who received only an oral antidepressant.
SPRAVATO® is only available at certified SPRAVATO® treatment centers under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
Infusion Therapeutix is a certified treatment center. Patients are monitored by our healthcare providers for at least 2 hours after administration of SPRAVATO®.
We work with Psychiatrists on a referral basis to provide oversight for SPRAVATO® treatment. We will seek approval from your insurance carrier and provide the education required for treatment.
